Blessed

I've really enjoyed doing the 30 day challenge and the thankful challenge. Doing the 30 day challenge just gives me a chance to write about random stuff. The thankful challenge has really showed me that God has blessed me with so many amazing friends and family.

Some nights I just sit back and I am absolutely amazed at how my life has turned out. God has taken me through so many heartaches, but I know that each one has brought me to where I am today. And I love where I am today. I am living in a beautiful city that has so much to do, I'm involved in a church that challenges me to grow daily, I have a group of friends that I can be my complete self with and they love me for it, and I have a classroom full of 17 children who love me (even on the days that I don't love them so much!). Most of all, I have a God who loves me enough to bless me and has given me my heart desires. There are some nights that I just sit back and think, "Wow. My God is amazing. To give me, a sinner, all of these wonderful things and wonderful people."

This past week and weekend has just been a time for me to really realize how great my life is. I have the best friends, both here, in Dallas, and around the country. I also have the best family. (By the way brothers, I have been missing both of you a lot lately! I can't wait to spend time with both of you over the coming holidays.)

I know that more challenges will come as well as more heartaches, but I also know that God will continue blessing my life as well. Live can be such a rollercoaster, but I wouldn't trade any of it for another ride. I can't wait to see what else this ride entails!
